Oh holy St. Jude, apostle of martyr, great in virtue, rich in miracle, near in kinsman of Jesus Christ, faithful intercessor of all those who invoke thy special patronage in time of need, to you i have resourced from the depths of my heart of humbly begged great power to come to your assistance. help me in my present and most urgent petition. in return i promise to make your name known and cause you to be invoke. St. Jude paray for us and all those who invoke thy aid.

sobrang dami ng gamit namin, hindi magkasya sa bago naming bahay. mas malaki kasi yung bahay namin dati, kaya, grabe, siksik talga ngayon sa bahay namin. last week, nung naglilinis kami ng mga kalat kalat na gamit sa bahay, sabi ko sa mommy ko:
ako: mommy ang dami na nating figurine (mga 300 na ata), pwede ba wag ka ng bibili uli.
mommy: hindi na ko bibili, bakit pa ko bibili?
ako: dati araw araw ka may dalang plastik na puro bagong figurine.
mommy: eh dati yun.
tapos nung isang araw, pag uwi niya, may dala siyang plastik galing sa Landmark. sabi ko:
ako: mommy ano to?
mommy: akin yan
ako: ano nga to?
mommy: akin nga yan
ako: eh ano nga to? *bukas ng plastik*
ako: ano to? mga manika? hay naku diba sabi ko wag ka ng bibili ng figurine
mommy: *grins* diko mapigilan eh.
although i am used to it, my mother's extravagance is something i will never understand. while she spends bucks on make-up, accessories, bags, clothes, shoes, and other trifles i am so painfully practical that i own only three pairs of shoes: a pair of sandals, rubber shoes, and my school shoes. i go to malls, money safely tucked in my pocket, with the intention of buying myself a nice blouse, or perhaps a pair of shoes, most of the time i end up spending my money on a book or on a present instead.
jeesh, i wonder if it's my mom, or maybe i just have to get a life. whatever.
