i don't know about you guys, but those idiotic sexy groups, i.e. hot babes, sex bomb, etc., are really irritating me nowadays.
i was just watching a show last night. mind you, that was a comedy show, and it did NOT make me laugh. all ic ould think of was that the industry are paying ridiculous sums of money for these trying hard freaks just for shrieking around and belting out nonsensical music. ugh. ga-ross.
if anyone's asking for my opinion, i'd say those girls get paid for parading their curves in all it's naked glory, and for igniting fire to the male population's unquenchable thirst for boobs and other, uh, female body parts.
now, guys, don't get me wrong, i'm not saying that all of those sexy "actresses" are stupid, for me, most of them are. it IS possible to be a sexy actress and still maintain some class and dignity, and actually show some talent. like, say, Rica Peralejo and Aubrey Miles. it's just that most of them just sing and dance and giggle, and try to pass it off as talent. it doesn't convince me. they're just trying to hide behind the hype.
then they get mad if someone says that they are sluts.
i don't know about everyone else, but as a woman, i just think it's undignified and insulting when filipinas are making their bodies the selling point of their careers.
does anyone agree with me?

it came to me the other day, how weird it was to have a boyfriend who lives just next door..i am an only child, so i was too used to going by my own pace. it may sound weird to some of you, but what i have always looked for in a boyfriend was the possessive and demanding type: i guess i'm tired of doing things my own way for too long, i just wanted someone who could control me (not many people can, believe me). i think i find the controlling types more worthy of my attention, because if they can control me, then he's made of tough stuff. *snicker, wink, wink* and now i have a boyfriend who's with me 24/7, who never lets me out of his sight, and glowers at any guy who dares to look at me. heehee. it gets on my nerves sometime, mind you.. but i've had worse boyfriends than he is so, i guess i'm as happy as i could be. still, i thought maybe i could share with you guys some lessons i've learned in, er, handling relationships. i hope it may actually serve some purpose to you. *laughs*
1. to make a relationship work you have to have patience
2. to make a relationship work, you have to practice forgiveness-even in the most painful situations.
3. 50% of what guys say are lies
4. the other 50% are half-truths.
5. we have to accept this fact.
6. sports are our biggest rivals.
7. the bitches who are trying to steal are boyfriends are just that-bitches. don't let them get to you or else they win.
8. you have to learn to bite your toungue about several things because guys are not the most understang creatures on the planet.
9. we have to make his friends and siblings like us so that they'd nag him if he fights with you. and
10. introduce him to all your friends so that a battalion would deal with him if he ever dares to fool you.
so there. bear in mind that it may not work for you, but it surely works for me. and just to brag, i am sooo giddily in love. yeah.. i know it's cheesy.. my apologies.

Your face lights up the sky on the highway.
Someday, you'll share your world with me someday.
You mesmerize me with diamond eyes;
I try to fool myself to think I'll be alright.
But I am losing all control -
My mind, my heart, my body and my soul
*Never in my life have I been more sure,
So come on up to me and close the door.
Nobody's made me feel this way before;
You're everything I wanted and more.
To speak or not to; where to begin.
The way dilemmas I'm finding myself in.
For all I know you only see me as a friend.
I try to tell myself wake up fool; this fairy tale's got to end.
*Never in my life have I been more sure,
So come on up to me and close the door.
Nobody's made me feel this way before;
You're everything I wanted (more)." (Repeat 2x)
You're everything I wanted
*for him..

You, my friend are a true individual. You most
likely hate trends and are creative. By seeing
things differently, people either admire you or
think you are a bit strange. I'm guessing you
are a lot like me. Perhaps a Good Charlotte

I am just expressing an opinion)

i watched last night's episode of special assignment. there was a segment about the "alleged" unfairness in the jurors' decision to vote out Neri in favor of the korean questor, Sandara Parks.
Sandara, or Sandy as she was more popularly known, was consistently the, uh, kulelat, in last week's workshops and trainings. many of us were surprised that she scraped through, even after being so obviously flimsy and untalented. according to the jurors, her votes saved her.
the votes saved her? yeah, right. bite me.
SCQ is supposedly a TALENT SEARCH. which should mean that they would take the best, no matter what. the way i see it, the jurors thought that: X-factor=more viewers; more viewers=higher ratings; higher ratings=more profit. but x-factor does not equate to talent, and Sandara may have x factor, but she SURELY doesn't have talent. and as i've said, it was supposedly a TALENT search. so what the hell is Sandara doing there. as Jessica Zafra would say, that is not a talent search, it's pandering.
correct me if i'm mistaken, but if after weeks and weeks of rigorous training and constant criticism, Sandara still has not improved, then she is bound to be a hopeless teeny bopper for the rest of her miserable carreer. actresses like her only wants the trappings and the glamour that comes with being a star. all flash, no substance.
and to those who like Sandy, no offense. but this is my blog.
you have your own blog to praise her.

*from cartoon series "as told by ginger"
She chose to walk alone.
Though others wondered why.
Refused to look before her,
Kept eyes cast upwards,
Towards the sky.
She didn't have companions.
No need for earthly things.
Only wanted freedom,
From what she felt were puppet strings.
She longed to be a bird.
That she might fly away.
She pitied every blade of grass
For planted they would stay.
She longed to be a flame.
That brightly danced alone.
Felt jealous of the steam
That made the air its only home.
Some say she wished too hard.
Some say she wished too long.
But we awoke one autumn day
To find that she was gone.
Some say she wished too hard.
Some say she wished too long.
But we awoke one autumn day
To find that she was gone.
The trees, they say, stood witness.
The sky refused to tell.
But someone who had seen it
Said the story played out well.
She spread her arms out wide.
Breathed in the break of dawn.
She just let go of all she held...
And then she was gone.

The Philippines is an archipelago with over 7,000 islands located about 805 km off the southeast coast of Asia. The Philippines has several wonderful vacation spots: Boracay, Baguio, Palawan, and lots of other
paradise-like haunts. Join us as we take you to the wonders of
Paradise Philippines.

The Philippine flag was first conceptualized by Emilio Aguinaldo. The first flag was sewn in Hong Kong by Marcela de Agoncillo, her daughter Lorenza, and Dona Delfina Herbosa de Natividad, a niece of Jose Rizal, the Philippines' national hero. The flag is displayed with the blue field on top in times of peace, and with the red field on top in times of war. (Source: Wikipedia)
