heh. i changed the look and feel of my journal and deleted all my entries. i guess i could say i want to begin right this time. hmm.. maybe i could start by saying a few things about me, cheesy as it sounds, cause nobody wants to listen to someone they don't really know, ayt? i promise not to bore you too much.
below is a picture of me, as i want to look all the time. i have black hair, dark brown eyes (almost black), fair skin and chinita eyes. i was born on march 20, 1985 in the MCU hospital. i've attended 3 schools namely: Sta. Isabel College (kinder 1-4th grade), St. Gabriel Academy (5th-6th grade), and from 1st year hs till now i study in the Royal and Pontifical Catholic University of Santo Tomas (proud much?)i live with my mom in paco. that's all for now i guess.that wasn't too bad, was it?

i have found the most deadly and effective substance that could kill a disgusting, crawling cockroach in less than two minutes. yup-o! even faster than those baygon and raid stuff.
dishwashing liquid.
i am not kidding. in our house roach eggs are being hatched at a regular basis, which is to say- every night, and the place is literally infested by these icky insects. so late one night, as i went to the kitchen for a snack, i saw, in the sink, are two roaches. i grabbed the most available weapon i can find- yup, dishwashing liquid.
squirt! i got one!
squirt! and another!
and as i watched the two roaches helplessly flailing around, desperately trying to breathe and twitching horribly, i felt a faint sense of triumph. *evil laugh*
this is lovingly dedicated to all the ipis-haters in the world

boredom and laziness triggered my sudden desire to raid my drawers for something to, um, reread.
as i go through my book collection i realized that throughout the years i am more inclined to read children's classical books. The Little Prince, Little Women, A Little Princess, The Secret Garden, Peter Pan, and the likes. so i thought, baket kaya?
could it be a manifestation of some deep-seated childhood trauma? could there be some void in my childhood years that i'm trying to make up? or maybe it's because i'm an only child, and spending my life crowded and suffocated by my overprtective yet well-meaning mother, i tried to escape it by flying off to Never Land with Peter, or went to the Secret Garden with Mary, or traveled to different planets with the Little Prince? or maybe, i just have this thing for children's books..
so what do you say?baket kaya?

one of the things that i like best is being with kids. i never really asked why. thankfully, the feeling seems to be mutual. most of the time, kids like me too.
last sunday, my mom and i went to a little gathering because it's the birthday of the wife of my mom's colleague. i got bored, so i played with one of their children.
he is charming enough, cute eyes and dimples and all, but he's not exactly well behaved. anyway, i was sitting by the stairs and the little rascal came running down and told me:
kid: iyuyuyod tita jan! (ihuhulog kita jan!)
me: ato yuyuod mo? itaw yuyod ko! (ako huhulog mo? ikaw huhulog ko!)
then i acted as if i was goin to throw him down the stairs. he disentangled himself from me, went pstairs, and returned holding a plastic bag. by this time, the son of my mom's boss, which we will call son of boss (SOB), is sitting with me. the kid told me:
kid: ipapatik tita!
SOB: ano daw?
me: ipaplastic ka daw niya. diba paplastic mo siya?
kid: (to SOB) ipapatit tita! tapon tita iyod!
SOB: ano daw?
me: ipaplastic ka daw niya tapos itatapo sa ilog.
SOB: loko tong bata na to ah.
kid: inde to bata! taw, batla!
SOB: ano daw?
they say children are good judges of characters.
danda daw ato?
smart kid. *chuckles*

The Philippines is an archipelago with over 7,000 islands located about 805 km off the southeast coast of Asia. The Philippines has several wonderful vacation spots: Boracay, Baguio, Palawan, and lots of other
paradise-like haunts. Join us as we take you to the wonders of
Paradise Philippines.

The Philippine flag was first conceptualized by Emilio Aguinaldo. The first flag was sewn in Hong Kong by Marcela de Agoncillo, her daughter Lorenza, and Dona Delfina Herbosa de Natividad, a niece of Jose Rizal, the Philippines' national hero. The flag is displayed with the blue field on top in times of peace, and with the red field on top in times of war. (Source: Wikipedia)
